• Check the suitability of surfaces to receive wallpaper. This will involve looking at different surfaces and discussing how you would treat them before hanging wallpaper.
• Preparation of pastes and adhesives. You will look at various pastes and discuss their use, including cellulose paste, starch pastes and ready-mixed paste.
