Spray with two hands. Not for show—just makes your life easier.
👉 Right hand on the gun.
🤚 Left hand on the hose—slide it down to the knuckle of the whip hose or 1m down, that’s the sweet spot.
Keeps the hose where it should be—out the way.
You’ll find yourself moving it with your foot without even thinking. Smooth, clean, and no more knocking into fresh work.
We had a kitchen course yesterday—hose swung up, scuffed the unit. One little habit could’ve stopped it.
Simple changes = cleaner jobs = fewer call-backs.

We’re mid-course and Steven’s just hit a three-strike scenario. That means we’ve had three blockages in the same area, and it’s time to act - not battle the gun.

Here’s what we do:

1. Stop the fight. Blocked tip? Dirty paint? Clogged filter? Don’t waste time.
2. Dump the pressure. Get everything to zero.
3. Strip it back. Take off the gun head, remove the filter, drop it in water.
4. Swap in a fresh filter. No need to clean the whole machine yet - just get moving again.
5. Still having issues? Time to strain the paint better, flush the system with water, clean the manifold, and reset.

In this case, it was quick:
- Filter out.
- New one in (with the spring).
- Gun reassembled.
- Pressure back up.

Back spraying in minutes. 👌

If it’s blocking, it’s telling you something - listen to it and reset. Don’t waste time fighting blockages. #short
