Advanced Kitchen Spraying

Take your kitchen spraying to the next level with our Advanced Kitchen Spraying course, a two day practical training programme, designed for experienced sprayers working in the premium market. You’ll master complex kitchens including sit-on, in-frame, oak, vinyl wrap and mixed-surface installations. We’ll cover full removal and door-numbering systems, modern prep methods, and the latest water-based technologies across 1K and 2K product systems — breaking down the benefits and limitations of each so you can confidently choose the right coating for any job.

Build on your existing airless skills and experience

You’ll work with HVLP, airless, heated hose, AAA and battery-operated sprayers, understanding how each performs in real-world kitchen environments. We’ll also compare on-site vs workshop spraying, including time, finish quality, client management, and logistics — so you can build the most efficient system for your setup. Expect to handle the tricky areas too: spraying carcasses, wine racks, bookshelves, and awkward internals with advanced masking techniques.

This course is equally focused on growing your business. You’ll walk away with a complete pricing system you can use to quote every kitchen with consistency and confidence, along with the sales follow-up processes to convert more leads and secure more reviews. We’ll spend time filming real promotional content, helping you build a library of photo and video assets while learning how to market your services effectively. You’ll also learn how to position your brand with strong guarantees, professional aftercare, and fast, repeatable touch-up systems that outperform your competitors. This isn’t just about spraying better — it’s about building a stronger, more profitable business that clients trust and recommend.

Kitchen & Furniture Spraying FAQs

Spraying a kitchen has a few benefits over traditional painting, including:

  • A more even and professional-looking finish with fewer brush or roller marks
  • Achieving a sleek and modern aesthetic
  • Quicker application over large surfaces, such as cabinets and walls
  • Easier to reach crevices and corners than with a brush or roller.

Spraying can require a little more preparation, including masking off areas and using specialised equipment but the actual spraying is often faster than painting.

The process typically involves several layers, with each one meticulously applied and polished to achieve a rich depth and a marble-like finish. Professionals often use a trowel to apply the plaster in thin, multiple layers, allowing each one to dry before moving to the next. Venetian plastering is beloved for its beauty, versatility, and ability to create a luxurious aesthetic that can range from a subtle matte finish to a high-gloss sheen, depending on the desired effect.

A kitchen respray typically lasts between 5 to 10 years. Some factors can affect the length of time the respray lasts; high-quality paints and finishes, professional application, and proper maintenance, will significantly extend the life of a resprayed kitchen. Regular cleaning and avoiding abrasive cleaners will also prolong the life of the respray.

It’s not hard to learn to respray kitchens and furniture. As with anything, it takes a bit of practice, but by learning the basics, such as surface preparation and correct application methods you can easily start to master the techniques. Our courses include hands-on training with real equipment as well as learning all of the prep and spray techniques, you’ll get real experience and understand how to tackle jobs properly.

To get started with kitchen and furniture spraying, you will need a decent HVLP or airless spray setup (our kitchen course focuses on airless), extraction if you’re working indoors, and proper PPE.

We’ll show you exactly what’s worth investing in and what to avoid wasting your money on, with no upselling – just honest advice from decorators who spray for a living.
